ABOUT CANDICE WARE

I’m a 3D Layout Artist with over a decade of experience bringing animated worlds to life for children’s series and feature projects. I’ve contributed to high-profile productions including Paw Patrol, Batwheels, Muppet Babies, Abby Hatcher, Pound Puppies, and Kick Buttowski. With a strong foundation in layout, FLO, and shot composition, I specialize in creating cinematic camera moves and visually engaging scenes that enhance storytelling. Throughout my career, I’ve led teams and trained junior layout artists while maintaining production schedules in fast-paced environments. My expertise includes 3D layout, color backgrounds, previsualization, concept art, and finaling (FLO), using tools such as Toon Boom Harmony, Maya, ShotGrid, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. I’m known for delivering high-quality shots on time, troubleshooting complex render issues, and ensuring pipeline efficiency from storyboard to final frames. I thrive in collaborative production environments, working closely with directors, producers, and animators to ensure every shot supports the narrative and artistic vision. I’ve managed layout teams, assigned FLO tasks, reviewed animation passes, and coordinated fixes in ShotGrid to keep projects on track. My experience spans supervising episodic shows, mentoring junior artists, and troubleshooting technical challenges to maintain quality and consistency.
