About Candan Soykan
I started my career in ecology/conservation biology, but took on progressively more analytical roles as I progressed from graduate school to my first, second, and third postdocs. After working a few years as a quantitative ecologist I transitioned over to data science, where I have worked for the past 6+ years. I\'m happiest in a collaborative environment working on problems which I find interesting and meaningful, and which leverage both my data science skills and scientific background/experience.
