Engineering is NOT glamorous work. But as someone with an affinity for problem solving and who doesn\'t shy away from hard work, it is rewarding. After 16 years in consulting engineering with a focus on site development, there are plenty of problems to solve. Albeit the majority of these \"problems\" revolve around some version of \"can we do it faster\" and \"can you do it cheaper\"! I take great pride in delivering a long term solution that meets my client\'s need while fitting the budget and schedule. I started my career at Google as a Regional Operations EHS Manager, I work with some of the best and brightest EHS minds. Leading a team that strives to allow everyone at Google to \"Go Home Safe\" is rewarding in a way that my previous years in Consulting Engineering didn\'t allow. I learned a tremendous amount about leadership during my time in EHS thanks to both coaching and observation of some of the best.After 3.5 years in EHS, I got the opportunity to return to my roots in engineering. As a Technical Project Manager on the Sustaining Engineering Team I get to combine my time in Operations with my love of engineering. My focus is to provide support to our operations teams striving to keep the internet on in our data centers. The demands of working with a company who is constantly pushing the limits of what is possible requires each of us to remember our priority of protecting each other and the environment.
