About Candace Langston
I am an Assistant Professor of Sports Performance, Health, and Fitness at St. Andrews University. In addition to teaching Kinesiology related courses, I serve as an academic advisor, committee chair, and department chair. I am a past president of the North Carolina Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Association and have held committee positions with the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association. My colleagues will attest that I am a high-performing, passionate individual. I believe that true success is achieved by combining high-quality care with keen business acumen. I earned a BS in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a MS in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am currently enrolled in the Ed.D in Kinesiology program at Concordia University, St. Paul. I am certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and hold the Exercise is Medicine Credential Level Additionally, I am certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation as a Certified Cardiac Rehbilitation Professional.
