ABOUT CANDACE STEWART
Experienced AP/AR Manager with a strong background in managing high-volume invoice processing and vendor relations in the construction industry. I lead a team of Accounts Payable professionals as well as a team of Accounting Coordinators who specialize in invoice review for accuracy prior to routing for project approvals. Just a few of my day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the vendor master process, onboarding new vendors, ensuring accurate AR application, resolving internal inquiries, and managing relationships with third-party partners such as Corpay (vendor payments) and SAP Concur (employee reimbursements). I also lead the charge on annual 1099 filings, unclaimed property reporting, and support our Controller and Accounting Manager with month-end reconciliations. As a key team member of our Vista by Viewpoint (ERP) system, I participate in the VP101 training team and collaborate on system upgrades to enhance operational efficiency. I’m passionate about building efficient, compliant processes that support both internal teams and external vendor partnerships.
