Having been the president of the board for a couple of years I then moved into position of VP of Development. The Center is the oldest child care center in Evanston and has served hundreds of families in its 75 year history. Research supports the thought that early childhood development and family support is crucial to creating well adjusted adults later on in life. The need is great and many funding sources are drying up. The Center is always in need of financial donations and new board members committed to this mission. I manage the annual report, the fall letter writing campaign and the spring benefit.
