ABOUT CANDACE CARSWELL
I am an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Information Management Specialist with over 16 years in document control, specifically in the oil and gas industry managing documentation on complex international and domestic major capital projects. Introduced to the document control discipline at Chevron in 2009 as a document control clerk, I quickly grasped the concepts and escalated my position to Sr. Document Controller within 3 years. I have worked on projects such as Escravos Gas Project, Nemba, Kitimat LNG, and Jack and St. Malo, and I have also gained experience with Operations as a part of the MidContinent Business Unit managing documentation for major Gas Plants and Field Locations. I briefly fulfilled a role as an IM SME within BP’s central IM Group, working as an Agile team, performing IM assessments of document management systems and specifications, creating content for training materials, deploying IM tools, and other tasks as assigned. I am now the Document Control Manager for NextDecade (LNG).
