Active member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the Gulf Coast Chapter of ASSE, and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). Committed to community service and lends volunteer time to Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the American Heart Association, the Houston Chamber Choir, and Urban Harvest.
