I work as an Economist at the IMF African Department. Previously, I worked at the IMF Monetary and Capital Markets Department. I have completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Maryland (UMD), College Park in 2019. I research in the area of International Finance and Macroeconomics, and Political Economy. I was a Summer Intern at the IMF Asia-Pacific Department (Regional Studies Disivison, Summer 2018), and at the IMF Research Department (Structural Reforms Unit, Summer 2017). I also worked as a Short Term Consultant at the World Bank (Development Economics Research Group, Summer 2016). I taught courses on Financial Markets and Macroeconomics as an instructor at the UMD in 20••••19. I was the Teaching Assistant for the Intermediate Macroeconomics course at the UMD in 20••••16.
