About Can Li
As a sustainability professional, I am passionate about driving environmental and social responsibility through data analysis, strategic planning, and cross-sector collaboration. I graduated with Master of Science in Sustainability Management at Columbia University, with a focus on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, life-cycle assessment (LCA), ESG reporting and renewable energy projects development. I also have hands-on experience using tools like QGIS, Python, and R for sustainability-focused projects.Before my journey in NYC, I completed my undergraduate degree from University of St Andrews in Scotland, where I conducted research on social exclusion, experienced on field UAV assessment for carbon offset St Andrews Forest Project and actively participated in student-run social enterprenural societies. In my professional experience, I worked as an Energy Intern at Savills, a top-tier global real estate firm, where I assessed renewable energy development opportunities across large-scale projects and prepared executive summaries for senior leadership. Looking ahead, I aim to contribute to the fields of ESG consulting, renewable energy, or carbon management, helping organizations achieve their sustainability goals while creating long-term value for stakeholders.
