I am deeply committed to fostering environments marked by growth, collaboration, and purpose.

Experience

  1. College and Young Adult Associate

    Brazos Fellowship

May 2026 — Present · College Station, TX

I have the privilege of serving the College and Young Adult population of the BCS area through Two42. At Two42, we exist to CONNECT students and young adults to authentic community, COMPEL them towards growth in their relationship with Jesus, and ENGAGE them in the mission of the gospel. In my role, I help create development strategies for our student leaders and interns, disciple girl leaders, and facilitate Wednesday night service environments. I assist our College and Young Adult Pastor, Chris Shepperd, in ministry planning, content brainstorming, and administrative systems. This role plays into many of my passions. I am excited and expectant for what God will do in this generation!

  2. Ministry Resident

    Breakaway

    Aug 2025 — Apr 2026 · College Station, TX

As the Chief of Staff Operations and Admin Resident, I enjoyed experiencing many aspects of large-scale parachurch ministry. Through logistics, leader development, and student discipleship, serving the "any & every" of the BCS area was an absolute honor. Throughout the year, I gained experience in programming, content brainstorming, communication with local partnerships, and fundraising management for our annual "Shalom Project." As a resident, I also had the privilege of attending weekly resident discipleship, where we learned from four of our ministry leaders as we walked through various curricula (spiritual disciplines, the Bible, theology, leadership, etc.). My favorite moments from the year with Breakaway came from my time with the student volunteer team I led, the Link Team. Link Team existed to express gratitude to our donors, collect God stories from students experiencing life change, and champion the ministry through various guest and online communications. This group of students proved to be zealous, aware, and pursuers of excellence. I cannot wait to see what this group will accomplish in their future endeavors. My time at Breakaway was nothing short of miraculous. Watching 4,000+ students gather every Tuesday to hear to the word of God is something I hope I never get used to. Breakaway intercedes on behalf of Texas A&M and is preparing for a move of God.

  3. Graduate Research Assistant

    Texas A&M University

    Jan 2025 — Jul 2025 · College Station, TX

Under Dr. Audrey McElroy, I facilitated and assisted with company-replicated research trials regarding broiler gut health and nutrition. With a desire to find natural feed alternatives, I sought to innovate the industry with plant-derived feed additives. I am experienced with broiler husbandry, feed production, intestinal sample collection, lesion scores, histology, fecal collection, litter moisture and pH, and foot pad scores. I also used my experience running statistical analysis with collected data. Additionally, I participated in a poultry health-specific degree program for training in the classroom.

  4. Monogastric Research Intern

    United Animal Health

May 2023 — Jul 2023 · Sheridan, Indiana, United States

I shadowed poultry research scientists and was responsible for an animal product research project. Through this role, I was able to visit with employees representing all aspects of the company to learn the values, process flow, and operation of UAH. I also rotated through multiple cites of experience, including the laboratory, feed mill, research farm, and headquarters. This internship gave me a glimpse of industry relationships, the importance of possessing a diverse skill set, and the “why” of conducting sound research. My time with UAH was overall an encouraging encounter to keep widening my perspective of the agricultural industry.

  5. Undergraduate Research Assistant

    Texas A&M University

    Feb 2022 — Dec 2024 · College Station, TX

I participated in research projects at the Poultry Science Research Center. These specific projects specialize in gut health and nutrition. I assisted in feed formulation, ensured that the barn had proper ventilation and temperature, collected data, and sampled various parts of the bird, including livers, tibias, blood, and histology. I shadowed the graduate students and our post-doc in data analysis as well. Every day at work was an opportunity to teach me more and more about the industry and how the poultry nutrition field operates. It also allowed me the opportunity to serve the industry in finding new advancements to how we feed the animals that feed the world.

  6. Student Assistant

    Texas A&M University

    Oct 2021 — Jul 2024 · College Station, TX

I set up high school FFA Poultry Judging contests around Texas to prepare Texas FFA students for the upcoming State CDE contest. After two years of Poultry Judging at Katy High School, I was able to earn a national champion title with my teammates. This qualifies me to set up a quality contest and effectively communicate contest results and set-up process. I design 11 different classes of the poultry industry, including eggs, processed products, carcasses, and live birds. I am able to assess the needs of the contest and provide improved experiences.

  7. Texas FFA Nominating Committee Chair

    Texas FFA

Jun 2021 — Jul 2021 · Fort Worth, Texas, United States

Selected by the Texas FFA State Officer team, I was able to serve as the leader of the 2021 Texas FFA Nominating Committee. My time in this role consisted of creating interview questions, welcoming candidates, and deliberating with my team. As a whole, we selected a National FFA Officer candidate and helped facilitate the process of the State Officer candidates. Our team was made up of 12 individuals from each Area selected to score fairly, communicate well, and uphold confidentiality, all while remaining poised and polished in our work. Our accomplishments are reflected in the characters of the selected officers. The job we were asked to do was very challenging, as all candidates we encountered were well-rounded individuals. As a whole, my time as the Nominating Committee Chair was extremely rewarding.

  8. Ford Leadership Scholar

    Texas FFA

    Jun 2020 — Jul 2021

I was chosen as one of 10 scholars in the state of Texas to undergo extensive leadership and community service training. I created a capstone community service project, Plant, Water. Grow, to increase agricultural understanding in a poverty-stricken area of Katy. I worked hand-in-hand with Attack Poverty and their after school program, You Can Academy, to bring a relationship-oriented aspect of agriculture to elementary school students. You Can Academy is a faith-based afterschool program for the students of Sundown Elementary to instill values of faith and hard work at an early age. Every Monday and Wednesday, volunteers run this program by creating curriculum and helping the students with their homework. Throughout my visits, I created various activities to increase agricultural awareness. These activities include USDA egg grading, equine equipment identification, broiler production, planting seeds, and reflection. Just as the students gained many skills, I learned many valuable lessons. I gained communication skills, the gift of individualization in the background of each student, administration skills, teaching abilities, schedule flexibility and time management. This project continues as the Katy FFA Ford Leadership Scholar Committee works to bring new skills to elementary-aged students.

  9. Barn Assistant

    Paloma Trails

May 2019 — Jan 2020 · Cypress, Texas, United States

I tended to the needs of the riding facility while accumulating skills of animal nutrition, animal welfare, proper management of children and animals, relational skills, communication skills, and upholding safety regulations. The facility held birthday parties and riding lessons, so I was expected to prepare the horses, tack them up, and lead them in the arena while the children rode. I kept careful watch of each person near the horses and took proper safety precautions when handling them.
