Hi I’m Camryn! Currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I love weightlifting, cooking and baking, vintage shopping, spending hours curating a perfect skincare routine, americanos, traveling and spending time with my family. I have a background in journalism, health and wellness and retail, which all come together to elevate my point of view as a UX designer. As a Gen Z Latina working in the tech industry, I am inspired by my grandma, mom and sister, who have helped pave the way for me and encouraged me to pursue my passions - no matter how scary they might be. I am inspired to create more inclusion and representation in this space, as well as, use my point of view, lived experience and expertise to share a new perspective. I used to think that design was the type of career where I would be quite isolated, that it would be me and my ideas a majority of the time. However, during my time in school and since working inside my first freelance UX design role, I have realized that design is anything but me and my ideas. UX Design is an immersive experience that requires constant collaboration and communication, and it is this element of UX design that I have truly come to love.I believe great and effective design lies within each of us. I believe great design lies in our ability to work together and collaborate as a team. I believe great design stems from understanding people, why they do the things they do, make the decisions they make and what they value in their lives. And I absolutely love that.My #1 priority right now as a UX Designer is to be apart of a passionate, fun and exciting team who I can grow along side of and learn from.
