KCUR is the flagship NPR station in Kansas City, Missouri and broadcast over the entire Kansas City metropolitan area. It is a service of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.As Director of Institutional Giving and Communications, I work with KCUR’s development director and the UMKC Foundation to develop and expand foundation, government and corporate giving for KCUR. In this role, I manage a portfolio of prospects, nurture current relationships and cultivate new ones, as well as oversee institutional and external communications for KCUR, and assist with special events.
