Responsible for providing leadership in the way that Planetary Design develops, designs, and manufactures products with a focus on new product portfolio expansions. Works closely with engineers and suppliers to make these visions into reality during the product tooling and debugging process, while contributing to the actual designs themselves. Also, overseas and manages the entire supply chain process to ensure that our products and inventory levels are properly maintained for all key markets that we sell in. As of October 2023, I have- Introduced 14 new products into our product lines- Made functional or aesthetic improvements to 10+ products- Discontinued 3 products that underperformed- Served as an integral part of the new product development and process improvements- Developed products from ideation through tooling execution with the help of engineers- Quoted, developed, tooled, and delivered an approved final sample of all new products projects- Ensured that all products meet food & safety requirements for the markets that they are sold in- Worked with engineer and production teams so that all products are functional, durable, manufacturable, and meet color and desired finishes- Managed entire Supply Chain process; product procurement, vendor/manufacturer relationships, inventory management, and shipping logistics.
