About Carolina Saife Monteiro
Teacher of the Deaf with a Master’s degree in Deaf Education, specializing in listening and spoken language for infants and young children with hearing differences. I provide family-centered, auditory-focused, and play-based intervention that supports communication within everyday routines. Currently in Year 2 of my Auditory Verbal Therapy / Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) certification through AG Bell. Passionate about early intervention, meaningful listening, and empowering families as essential partners in their child’s growth. My work is informed not only by professional training, but also by lived experience as a parent to a deaf child, strengthening my commitment to family partnership and high expectations for every child.
