ABOUT CAMILO SANDOVAL

Camilo Sandoval is the Founder and Managing Partner of Pacific Square, a strategic advisory firm that bridges the United States and allied nations across business, technology, and government.As a former Senior White House Advisor under the 45th President, Camilo led key initiatives on national artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and supply chain risk management and later supported the 47th Presidential Transition Team. As the White House Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Information Officer of the Department of Veterans Affairs, he oversaw more than $120 billion in federal technology investments and led transformative initiatives in AI, cybersecurity, and digital modernization—strengthening the security of 2.95 million federal employees and improving healthcare delivery for more than 9 million veterans nationwide.Earlier in his career, Camilo served in the United States Air Force and the National Security Agency (NSA). He later built a career in finance and technology on Wall Street, working in healthcare investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and enterprise-wide technology management and digital payments innovation.At Pacific Square, Camilo leads strategic trade and public-private investment initiatives that connect policy with market opportunity across emerging technologies, defense, energy, critical minerals, and infrastructure. His work supports a broader national effort to revitalize America’s industrial and technological base, strengthen supply-chain resilience, and advance innovation-driven growth with allied nations. Drawing on deep experience in both government and the private sector, he brings together industry, capital, and policy to help shape a more secure and prosperous future for the United States and its partners.He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas and an MBA from Indiana University, where he was a Consortium Fellow.
