I stepped into this newly created role to strengthen our data-driven approach within the DRM business. My focus has been on improving data integrity, building tools that scale, and translating complex systems into actionable insights.Key initiatives & highlights: Created and launched the DRM Data & Performance dashboard, enabling leadership to monitor business growth across all DRM entities. Worked closely with the Analytics team to ensure data accuracy and enhance visual storytelling. Automated advanced royalty reporting for key accounts, saving 20+ hours/month in manual work for Operations — significantly improving response time and internal workflows. Co-led the development of a YouTube copyright automation tool with the Analytics team — recognized by Google and featured in one of their annual tech events. Initiated exploration of Google Cloud tools such as BigQuery, Looker, and Gemini AI to assess their alignment with DRM business needs. Extended and upsold multi-year film partnerships, including LEONINE GmbH, through consistent data-backed relationship management. Created and taught the DRM Unique Selling Proposition to the Swedish team to reinforce data as a business differentiator.How this role helped me grow:This position has allowed me to merge technical curiosity with business vision. From collaborating with engineers and analysts to launching reporting tools, I’ve deepened my expertise in business intelligence (DAX, Power Query, statistical modeling), and gained hands-on experience in cross-functional leadership and strategic problem solving. Most importantly, I learned how to create value with limited resources - by staying grounded, creative, and purpose-driven.
