Partnered with Resource Industries machine product leads to define the VOB/VOC requirements and delivered the roadmaps (MGPPs) for various smart assist solutions; as a result, 15 sub-functional specs were developed for Autonomous Collision Awareness & Avoidance Systems, Back-Up Smart Assist, and Trolley Assist Smart Camera programs. • Led the engineering development and performance of the first operator assist solution for Caterpillar Trolley machines, achieving time, cost, and quality goals. Such program contributed to the sales of 11x 794 Large Mining Trucks with Trolley to one of our biggest customers in Brazil. • Collaborated with Hardware & Software design teams to develop systems architecture and integrate various advanced operator assist solutions to a mix of Resource Industries products using existing proven product development tools such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and PMO to ensure the project is delivered with built-in quality, on time, and within budget. • Ensured the end-to-end smart assist solutions followed all related standards & existing regulatory requirements, in addition to, delivered the operational design domain (ODD) after reviewing 300+ operating scenarios in which the systems shall be designed to safely operate as part of the functional safety requirements.
