I am a Ph.D. economist interested in firms, growth, trade, technology, and spatial economics. My website is https://sites.google.com/view/cacostam/. Here, you can find more details about my CV, publications, current work and contact information.I am currently working as a Knowledge Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where I lead the construction of evidence synthesis tools to close the gap between academic research and development operations. I am also in charge of developing indicators to measure the influence of the IDB\'s knowledge and its in operations.Before that, I was a professor of economics at Universidad EAFIT in Medellín, where I still teach once a year as an invited professor.
