ABOUT CAMILLE CONSTANS
Camille Constans is the Head of Development at Association ALC (\"Agir pour le Lien social et la Citoyenneté\"), an important NGO located in Nice and the Alpes-MAritimes (France) ensuring a mission of general interest and recognized as such by the law, created in 1911. ALC provides support to vulnerable people, especially women, children, migrants, asylum seekers and trafficked persons. Since 2002, ALC is the coordinator of the French National Network for assistance and protection of victims of trafficking (Ac.Sé). She was previously Grant and Research Development Officer for SKEMA Business School at Sophia Antipolis. She was before the Head of the Euro-african program called MEETAfrica financed by the EU (innovative entrepreneurship of the African Diaspora) and Head of the Migration Unit at Expertise France, the French public agency of international expertise acting under the supervision of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has been working in the area of European affairs since 2003. She was the Head of Training Department of Welcomeurope, a consultancy and training firm specialized in EU funds (20••••08) and Service Director until 2011 at the Consultancy Department, where she assisted organizations in identifying relevant funding, preparing applications and managing European projects. She delivered training sessions on European funding schemes (structural funds, community and external action programs, pre-accession) and supervises a team of dedicated trainers. She also assisted organizations in their lobbying activities and strategic positioning towards the European institutions and other stakeholders active in European affairs. As Independent Project Manager of different transnational and cross-boarder European projects until the end of 2005, she prepared applications, set up European partnerships and managed projects for NGOs and central and local governments.
