Collaborate with multiple school administrators, over 50 faculty members, and the operations team to develop school policies that improve school culture and academic achievement for a student body of over 850 high school students. • Provide trainings for up to 10 teachers on the following district initiatives and school-site instructional programs: Workshop Model, SDAIE and ELD strategies, Acellus (computer-based learning system), Kagan Cooperative Learning, and Complex Instruction (addressing status and equity through student engagement).• Spearheaded the development of a coaching model (based on the works of E. Aguilar, in “The Art of Coaching”) using tools such as: a goals and action plan template, observation tracker, and feedback conference protocols to cultivate a culture of reflection and collaboration amongst teachers. • Plan, coordinate, and deliver test examiner trainings to teachers on the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California to be administered to 90 English Language Learners, grades 9-12.• Implemented state mandated support and services for all English Learners that resulted in a 41% increase in the reclassification rate for ELs. Services included progress monitoring, individualized learning plans, intervention, assessments, parent education trainings, afterschool tutoring, and other school-related events.
