I provide general supervision, training and guidance to school Nurses and healthcare workers in the schools district. I coordinate staff to assure that effective Nursing services and established policies and procedures are being met. Contributions and Responsibilities include. Conducting and screening patients for COVID 19, registration in EMR, point of care test specimen collection/processing, notifying patient of results, educating patient/parent on appropriate next steps based on tests results. •Provide emergency services and first aid care for everyone within the school •Screening for health problems and acting to prevent the spread of contagious and communicable disease that impact education and manage concerns so students are ready to learn• Acting as a liaison and member of the crisis intervention team between administration, parents and students to develop plans to met health needs. • Administering of medication and developing care plans for students with chronic conditions and disabilities • Participating as a member of the multidisciplinary team that identifies, evaluates and places students in special education programs and makes modifications in programs for students who require accommodations due to health concerns
