About Camille Messer
In my role as the Assistant Director of Major Gifts at Philanthropy Roundtable, I develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans and strategies to engage mid-level donors through proactive identification, cultivation, stewardship, solicitation, and growth. Other responsibilities include assisting with team operations, contributing to grant proposals, and aiding senior leadership with special initiatives and strategic projects. Before joining Philanthropy Roundtable in March 2024, I worked at the American Enterprise Institute, where I connected undergraduates to the public policy world of Washington, DC, through hosting and planning conferences, seminars, and mentorship programs and producing a podcast. Previously, I served as the Government Relations Fellow at the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities in partnership with the Falls Church Fellows program. I attended Covenant College, where I studied economics with a particular interest in poverty alleviation. During my undergraduate years, I interned at a fundraising consulting group, served as a Resident Assistant, and led on Student Senate.
