About Camille West Kilburn
I am a doctoral student in School Psychology at Baylor University with a strong foundation in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation. I hold a Specialist in School Psychology (S.S.P.) degree and am licensed in Texas as a Licensed School Psychologist (LSP). I also maintain the Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential.Prior to beginning my doctoral training, I worked as a school-based practitioner conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing individualized supports, and collaborating with educators and families to meet the diverse needs of students. These experiences have grounded my approach in practical, evidence-based strategies and strengthened my commitment to systems-level change.My professional interests include psychoeducational assessment, school-based evaluations, autism identification, and mental health advocacy. I am especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent youth—particularly autistic girls and women—through strengths-based practices, interdisciplinary collaboration, and culturally responsive care.As I continue my training, I’m eager to bridge research and practice, contribute to the field through scholarship and leadership, and promote equitable, student-centered services in school and community settings.
