As Executive Director, I provide strategic and operational leadership to advance BWW’s mission of empowering newcomers and youth in Ottawa. Working closely with the Board of Directors, I oversee governance, community partnerships, and program direction to ensure the organization remains impactful and sustainable.Key responsibilities- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and implement the organization’s vision and strategic plan- Identify, assess, and communicate internal and external issues that affect the organization’s growth and priorities- Serve as a professional advisor to the Board on all operational and program matters- Foster strong collaboration between the Board, staff, and volunteers to ensure effective teamwork and accountability- Act as a spokesperson for the organization, representing BWW in the community and with partners- Manage official correspondence on behalf of, or in collaboration with, the Board when appropriate.
