GroBrain trains professionals to deliver baby and toddler courses to parents. Its messages and techniques create highly effective early interventions which help parents understand how their child\'s brain is developing. The impact of this on reducing problems in later childhood and adolescence has been recognised, particularly in Wales and other parts of the UK which have focused investment on early intervention to support vulnerable families.Achievements include:* Moving all GroBrain training online during the pandemic* Launching a new Toddler course to supplement the original Baby course* Setting up a new service in CardiffFollowing a successful Foundation Day, we trained members of Cardiff Flying Start (health visitors and parenting practitioners working with more vulnerable families) to deliver the 4-session GroBrain Baby Course for Parents. The programme was trialled very successfully with targeted groups including young mums. Facilitators said \"We love this programme in Flying Start. Camilla was a very passionate trainer and our enthusiasm has brushed off on our colleagues from other services so we are finding ourselves in a position where we need to try and keep up with demand.\" The GroBrain Baby Course has been successfully integrated in antenatal and postnatal parenting groups across Cardiff, and Flying Start and their new team are looking to deliver at least 9 courses a year.* Established the Colin Neighbourhood Partnership, BelfastGroBrain is now established in Belfast, using a team of both professionals and volunteers. CNP have exciting plans to deliver GroBrain sessions in secondary schools, as well as to parents both one-to-one and in groups. This forms part of the group\'s ACE Awareness response.
