ABOUT CAMILLA DE BURGHE

Hi, I’m Camilla I’m an urban designer and masterplanner, with over 14 years of experience working in private sector consultancy. My key skills include masterplanning strategic and technically complex sites, along with the production of Vision Documents, Design and Access Statements, and Design Codes to support schemes. My experience is supported by extensive technical and design knowledge that informs place-making led and commercially astute design proposals for a variety of mixed use and residential schemes across the UK.I specialise in community and stakeholder engagement processes, and have a track record in delivering highly successful and positive engagement events that have formed an integral part in gaining planning approvals. I’m passionate about both professional and personal development, and have spent two years solely working as career coach, mentor, and trainer. During this time, I enjoyed working with women across the Built Environment Sector, along with private and public sector organisations. I have been selected as a mentor for the Manchester Young Professionals, Women in Planning, and Women in Property mentoring schemes over the last 5 years. I’m proud to be the current 20••••26 chair of the Women in Planning North West network, with this role further enhancing my communication, facilitation, and leadership skills. On a personal level, it\'s incredibly fulfilling to see women in the industry come together to build their support network - and play a small part in this.
