As an audiovisual technician, I provide support for students, administration, and visitors whom need assistance with campus programs and events within the Popp Martin Student Union. My duty is to set up, operate, maintain, and repair audio, visual and technical equipment used to enhance the customer\'s experience with programs and events. This equipment includes but is not limited to: microphones, mixers, speakers, projectors, screens, lighting, televisions, amplifiers, conference phones and more. Apart from operation, I am responsible for monitoring sound levels and enforcing amplified sound policies within the building. My tasks include conducting basic routine maintenance on all equipment and assist with inventory management of building-wide A/V equipment. My love for media and audio visual technology makes my basic understanding of audiovisual, technical, multimedia, and computer systems pure enjoyment.
