About Camila Perea
Currently, I am working as a research assistant in the Koehler Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital. I completed my studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science where I studied Medical and Molecular Biology. During my time in Boston, I have had the opportunity to participate in different research programs with Dana Farber, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Boston Children\'s Hospital. Through these experiences, I have gained a variety of wet lab, critical thinking, and project management skills. Beyond these skills, I have acquired a passion for research in developmental and regenerative biology. All my mentors have aided and encouraged my success through my undergraduate degree and I could not be more excited to continue my career in research. I am in the process of preparing my application to graduate school so that I may accomplish my goal of becoming a research scientist. I hope to one day inspire other Latine students to pursue their dreams despite any obstacles and challenges along the way.
