The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the Hispanic Austin Leadership Program. HAL, Austin’s premier leadership program, was established in to successfully develop business acumen, civic awareness, leadership skills, and meaningful connections amidst a cohort of exceptional colleagues. Recognized as one of the top seven Hispanic Leadership Programs in the United States, HAL is proud to generate a multi-million dollar economic impact in Central Texas. HAL’s mission is to advance the development of Austin’s most promising leaders, entrepreneurs, and community partners focused on engaging and advancing the cause for Austin’s Latinos. The program consists of interdisciplinary sessions and community impact projects designed to be resourceful and has a direct influence on six of Austin’s most important professional sectors- Healthcare- Environmental Sustainability- Civic Engagement- Finance- Arts & Culture - Education- Technology Through the course of the program, HAL cohort participants gain a valuable understanding of both the obstacles and opportunities present within the Hispanic community and the Greater Austin population. HAL cohort participants are asked to contribute innovative, actionable, and meaningful solutions to advance the vision and work of the GAHCC.
