1. Director of Marketing

   Ascent Credit Union

   The credit union recently rebranded from Weber State Credit Union to Ascent Credit Union, and I was an integral part in that enormous undertaking. From market research to employee surveys, I helped to assess the current brand and determine that a new name was necessary for more growth. I helped to lead the project of finding a new name, logo and brand that would work well to bring in new members without isolating our current members. I am responsible for the marketing strategy of Ascent CU, which includes planning, developing, designing and executing all campaigns, as well as tracking analytics and overall performance. I oversee electronic pre-press functions and the layout and design of all internal and external publications. I provide professional graphics, images, animations, videos and designs for the ACU website. I maintain the marketing for all electronic channels, including social media. In addition, I create all print design pieces, such as brochures, advertisements, handouts, signs, direct mail pieces, newsletters and multimedia presentations. I coordinate activities with outside printers, service agencies, advertisers, and vendors to complete projects within scheduled deadlines and budgets. I also provide support to other departments on special projects.
