About Cameron Shew
Cameron is a Principal Civil Engineer with SacDOT, overseeing Transportation Planning and Development Services. Our planning team provides both current and long range planning services, including traffic studies, specific/master plans, VMT analysis, General Plan implementation, and regional/interjurisdictional coordination. On the development services side, we work closely with our customers throughout the entitlement process, issuing conditions of approval and checking improvement plans.Cameron is a registered civil and traffic engineer with broad experience, including transportation planning/modeling, analysis, and design throughout Northern California. Cameron is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, holding an M.S. degree (with distinction) in civil and environmental engineering and a B.S. degree (summa cum laude) in civil engineering. He currently serves as Vice President of the Western District of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE Western District).
