As the high school treasurer for Northgate High School in Walnut Creek. My role is to oversee all financial transactions and fundraising efforts going in or out of an organization on campus, perform financial record keeping for student activities and related funds. My primary duties include budget planning, financial reporting, record-keeping, and managing incoming and outgoing funds. As the treasurer I oversee the general financial management of the entire school. I plan and keep track of budgets within the organization, collect, deposit, and keep track of funds, write cheques, and provide financial reports regularly. My role as the treasurer is to serve as a financial watchdog, ensuring the protection of the schools funds and ensure the financial health of its members. As the treasurer I\'m also responsible for reconciling bank statements, managing cash flow, and help with fund-raising efforts to better the school\'s financial state.
