About Cameron Longhurst

As a first-year student at the University of Oklahoma, I am currently focused on developing leadership and business acumen through my involvement in the JCPenney Leadership Program, Crimson Leadership Association, and President’s Leadership Class.Prior to OU, I graduated as valedictorian from Alva High School, where I served as student council president, founded a chess club, and participated in varsity basketball, track, soccer, speech, and debate. During my senior year, I was able to gain experience as an IT intern at Northwest Technology Center and worked part-time in graphic design at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, in addition to being named an Academic All-State honoree. That same year I was fortunate enough to win the state policy debate championship, along with being a finalist in extemporaneous speaking.I’m passionate about leveraging social media and strategic marketing to drive business growth. With hands-on experience managing and growing my own YouTube channel to over subscribers, I’ve developed a deep understanding of digital content strategy. Currently studying Marketing and Management Information Systems, I plan to gain industry experience after graduation to further enhance my expertise and later obtain an MBA.

1. Microsoft Copilot Campus Ambassador

   Within this role I am responsible for promoting Copilot as an AI-powered study and productivity tool to students specifically at the University of Oklahoma. Through multiple events and targeted social media campaigns, I will be showcasing the program\'s utility and bringing students to the platform. This role specifically will help and is continuing to help develop my event-planning skills while providing direct collaboration with Microsoft’s Copilot and GroupMe teams.
