About Cameron Brock
I love building things - companies, strategies, products, relationships, you name it. I\'m currently transitioning out of my Founder role and seeking my next challenge in helping companies succeed, and hopefully being able to surf nearby.My variety of experience in product design, engineering, sales, and founding a product incubator and ecommerce company have prepared me to become an effective Product Manager and Strategic Advisor. Some highlights of my relevant experiences are:Working at a Product Design firm in SF, I developed two glucose-monitoring applicator devices from concept to functional prototype, working as intermediary between executive team and internal R&D group – co-inventor of US Patent: US 2018/03•••71 Al. As an entrepreneur, I assembled a team of designers, manufacturing experts, and engineers to launch a new brand Hex Board Co. in January 2018 with current sales of per month. As a project manager and technical lead, I led a team of 2 designers and 2 engineers to design and manufacture the exterior of a $2M radiation therapy robot from concept to manufacturing, outpacing the client’s robotics team by 6 months. As a crew manager, I was responsible for manpower allocation, machine maintenance, repairs, and work schedule of crew members operating the engine room of 282-ton medical ship The Pacific Link in Papua New Guinea.Full expertise and work experience in: advanced strategy and execution of product operations, partnering with Product and Engineering to ensure teams are operating effectively and delivering timely, value-driven product releases, owning and improving the product development operating cadence (e.g. quarterly release planning, weekly delivery meetings, product feedback syncs, leadership offsites), analyzing feasibility, cost ramifications, economies, or other aspects of planned or potential features, and team management using agile product development, design thinking processes.
