About Cameron Hay
I am currently a Systems Engineering working for Sherpa 6. Previously I worked for DroneUp as a Systems Engineer in the area of Mission Assurance. In that role I carried a wide variety of responsibilities. My main responsibility was to ensure that when aircraft systems are released, they wete equipped to safely and effectively perform their mission to the best of their ability. Ensuring their abilities were up to par was my job. Managing business expectations such as budget, schedule, and market needs while never losing sight of safety-critical system requirements is always at the forefront of each and every activity that I perform. My focus from a career perspective is to develop and hone my skills and expertise with control systems, requirements development and management, and system architecture design utilizing a skillset strongly rooted in chemical, electrical, and software disciplines. I also have significant experience utilizing Agile as a scrum master, employing model-based systems engineering, and executing the systems \"V\" approach. From 2019 until early 2023, I worked at Raytheon Technologies as a Senior Systems Engineer on Fuel Systems and Sensing product lines. My primary focus was working on the development and verification of the fuel system for the Airbus A321neo XLR aircraft. I also worked on several business development opportunities in the commercial and DoD space. Before my time at Raytheon Technologies, I worked at RoviSys as a systems engineer, focused in the biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to that experience, I was at Fosta-tek Optics in Leominster, MA, designing and manufacturing optical plastics. Furthermore, I completed two 6 month co-ops at Pfizer in Andover, MA. My first experience was working in a GMP environment aiding in the implementation of DeltaV. The second co-op was in the Andover Pilot Plant facility, working hands-on with technicians and engineers on various projects coming through the facility. Here, I gained invaluable experience with automation systems such as DeltaV and how bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing at varying scales functions. In the past I have worked at a research laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Lowell on cancer research. The focus of this research was to explore novel nanoparticle drug delivery systems and learn about nano-characterization.Thank you for checking out my LinkedIn profile.
