My role as Investment & Portfolio Manager has two main dimensions. On the Investment side, I carry out research into target markets and attend relevant industry events, with a focus on the engineering and industrial sectors. This allows me to identify opportunities to grow our Portfolio, which I sponsor through our Investment Committee. I am also responsible for managing the acquisition and onboarding process for new to Portfolio Investments once an offer has been accepted. Within our existing Portfolio, I am responsible for supporting local management teams to drive performance in a number of our businesses. I attend Portfolio Company Board Meetings, helping each business to determine and deliver on their strategic objectives. As a conduit between the Main Board of Turner & Co. and the Portfolio Companies, I also provide reporting and insight to support decision making and maximise shareholder value.
