I enjoy being challenged, both by my peers, and by the technologies that I work with every day. Streamlining the network down to its basic principles is my focus. Enterprise networks get more complex and difficult to manage every day. My goal is to innovate and design a solution that delivers network simplicity. Focus Areas: Data Center Architectures – Underlay L3 fabrics, two-tiered spine and leaf designs, and Network overlays in highly virtualized, multi-tenant environments. SDN – Automation in the Data Center and on the WAN. Exploring use cases to leverage SDN for underlay and overlay networks. Factoring in all components in provisioning network segments with Virtualization, Firewall, Load Balancing, Accessibility, etc.Security – VPN designing for corporate B2B relationships and remote-access VPN for corporate users. Multihoned Firewall designs focusing on all public services residing in DMZ. Hardening policies and practices to secured trusted networks.
