   The Promise vision is to fulfill the promise that “God sets the lonely into families” (Psalm 68:6). Promise mobilizes church communities to meet three goals:(1) Prevent children from coming into the foster care system.(2) Intervene when children enter the system.(3) Connect children and families when children need a permanent home. The Promise model hinges on developing strong Family Advocacy Ministries (FAMs) in local churches to accomplish this work. The Promise staff works diligently to guide these FAMs to success and to give them the best resources available to maximize impact. The Georgia State Director is responsible for- Share the needs of vulnerable children and explain the FAM model and programs to churches- Build strong relationships with pastors, staff, and donors; share impact and express thanks- Create and track growth and funding plans for Georgia regions with local partners and Promise686- Lead church outreach, schedule meetings, host events, and secure partnership commitments- Work with FAM Coaches to ensure smooth onboarding and track all church communication- Update VP of Engagement on church funding progress and activation goals- Highlight the benefits of the FAM Software Platform in all outreach- Submit local grant applications and impact reports when needed.
