ABOUT CAMERON WEYGANDT
I am a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer focusing aspects of power. Now I am leading a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure continued safe, and reliable, operation of high voltage transmission level assets. I was introduced to the construction world at a young age through electrical contracting. From this exposure I decided to continue my education in the field of Electrical Engineering. Since completing my degree I have performed various engineering calculations and evaluations including arc flash and overcurrent protection coordination studies. I have expanded my knowledge of electrical engineering by becoming a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Since pursuing a career focused in reliability of low to extra-high voltage electrical systems I have transitioned into leading skilled technical teams comprised of field technicians and engineers. These teams ensure reliability of utility scale electrical systems and protection schemes through skilled maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and project development/execution. Together with my team we optimized maintenance schedules to maintain regulator compliance while bringing a tangible benefit to resource loading given current availability of skilled craft.
