ABOUT CAMERON WEBB
With an interest for life experiences, Cameron left Canada in 2005 to pursue a career within Supply Chain Management and Logistics in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Cameron was fortunate enough to land a position as Logistics Coordinator on the world famous Palm Jumeirah Island where he honed and worked diligently implementing and managing effective logistics and inventory management programs. Cameron soon thereafter took on a role as Senior Logistics Manger on The World Islands project with Dubai Government Developer Nakheel. In this role he worked with project managers and consultancies in developing the Logistics Marine Program that would support all equipment and personnel transfer from the mainland to the islands themselves.Pursing other challenges in the UAE Cameron was approached by Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) to implement the multifaceted programs required to help manage the overall logistics programs of Saadiyat and Sir Bani Yas Islands. With both marine and onshore logistics and transportation operations running simultaneously, the challenges included managing complex and time sensitive logistics operations. With 3 world class museums under construction (The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, The Louvre Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Zayed Museums) it was critical that the overall island logistics program supported Abu Dhabi\'s goals of building iconic tourist attractions. Now back home in Canada, Cameron managed the logistics program for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletes Village while simultaneously finishing a Masters of Business Administration through the University of Manchester, Manchester Business School. The opportunity arose whereby Cameron joined the Ontario Power Generations Retube and Feeder Refurbishment of four nuclear reactor units with Aecon Construction and the CanAtom power group. In late 2023, Aecon Nuclear took Cameron on as SMR-X Logistics Lead for the first of a kind BWRX-300 project designed by GE Hitachi.
