I am an operations leader with experience spanning military financial command, government contract oversight, construction, and private-sector hospitality management.Currently serving as General Manager at Morris Hospitality Group, I lead teams and drive operational performance in environments where execution, accountability, and financial discipline are critical. My focus is building structured, high-performing teams and improving systems that produce consistent results.Prior to the private sector, I served as a Captain in the Illinois Army National Guard, leading multi-site financial operations in support of U.S. European Command. During a forward deployment, I commanded distributed teams responsible for payroll and disbursing operations supporting more than personnel across Europe, while overseeing complex funding operations in a dynamic operational environment.Earlier, I served as a Contracting Officer Representative during a deployment in Eastern Europe, managing 15+ government contracts totaling more than $20 million across construction, fleet operations, maintenance, and linguistics services. The role required cross-cultural coordination, contractor oversight, fiscal accountability, and execution under pressure.I grew up working in a small construction business, where I learned early that leadership means ownership and problems rarely come with perfect blueprints.
