Team IMPACT is an organization that matches children with severe illnesses or disabilities with college athletic teams across the country. The Penn Men’s Basketball Team was matched with a new child in the fall of 2023 and 2024. My role as a leader is to provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. As a leader, I reach out and make sure our child is excited about participating in a team setting, and my teammates and I create fun videos, play games, include our child in our on-court activities during practices, and host him at our games.
