About Cameron Shepherd

Public affairs professional with experience in state policy, legislative strategy, and political campaigns. I serve as Director of Government Relations and Membership Services for the Texas Health Care Association, where I advocate for long-term care providers and support member engagement across Texas. My background includes work in the Texas House of Representatives, congressional and legislative internships, and campaign communications. I earned a Master of Public Administration and a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University, where I was active in student leadership and fraternity life. I also help lead Prison Evangelism, a nonprofit ministry founded by my late great-grandfather, continuing his mission of offering hope and encouragement to incarcerated individuals.
