ABOUT CAMERON MENINI
I am a current Race Car Aerodynamics MSc student at the University of Southampton with a strong passion and aptitude for motorsport aerodynamics.Recently in May of 2025, I completed my M.S. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, specializing in aerodynamics with a focus on motorsport applications. During my graduate studies, I was contributing member of the Illini Electric Motorsports FSAE Team, where I worked in the aerodynamics department on the design, simulation, and performance optimization of the floor edge and diffuser of the 2025 IEM challenger.I completed my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Loras College in 2024, with minors in Physics and Mathematics. At Loras, I was honored as the Top Student in Engineering (2023–2024) and was named to the Academic Dean’s Top 20 Award list for my graduating class, as well as being a team lead for the Loras College Baja SAE Team. As a former 5-year NCAA men’s volleyball student-athlete, I have developed a competitive mindset, winning mentality, and an elite work ethic, as well as being recognized as a 2x finalist for the Loras College Male Student-Athlete of the Year (2022, 2023) and the Loras Elite 24 Award (2024). The skillset I have developed from my combined academic, athletic, and engineering experiences has fully prepared me to thrive in fast-paced and high-performance expectation environments and has uniquely positioned me to excel in the motorsport aerodynamics world.
