I have over 20 years of tax consulting and tax compliance experience. My tax experience includes federal, state and local tax compliance and tax planning for privately-held companies as well as assisting high net worth individuals with their planning and compliance needs. I assist many closely-held businesses in a number of industries including real estate, professional service firms, and manufacturing and distribution entities. I also has experience in the area of ASC 740 and issues surrounding accounting for income tax.Prior to joining BDO, I worked for a regional CPA firm and previously had experience working in the private sector as a controller of a diverse family owned organization with multiple entities across various industries. My corporate experience afforded me a deeper understanding of client needs and challenges allowing him to share insight to help them reach their business and financial objectives.I am passionate about serving my clients and providing them with proactive advice to help them achieve their business objectives.
