I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience in private equity, real estate syndication, and small business tax advisory. My career has been shaped by a passion for financial clarity and helping both investors and entrepreneurs make informed, forward-looking decisions.Currently, I serve as Controller at Peak Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on the acquisition and management of multifamily housing assets across the U.S. In this role, I oversee ownership financials, equity management, audits, and investor reporting for institutional and individual investors. I work closely with leadership to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial insights.In addition, I am the Founder of Kimbal Tax & Accounting, PLLC, a growing tax practice serving over 230 clients annually. Through my firm, I provide personalized tax planning, compliance, and business structuring strategies tailored to individuals and small businesses. I enjoy helping clients not only stay compliant but also plan with confidence for long-term success.I hold both a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and a Master of Taxation from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. My professional drive is matched by my love for endurance sports—running, cycling, and long-distance training—and, above all, time spent with my wife and our four boys.
