Provides Safety Leadership, Mentorship, and Coaching within the AWP Safety Canada & North Business Units locations while partnering with Senior Operations Leaders to establish vision and strategy to advance the Safety Culture and Client RelationshipsKey Responsibilities:• Development of health and safety programs and standards at an Enterprise and Business Unit level and is accountable for achieving year-over-year reductions in the frequency and severity of occupational injuries, illness, incident, and motor vehicle collisions.• Providing strategic vision, leadership, and operational execution of environmental, health, and safety performance consistent with AWP Safety expectations.• Leads safety programs including, but not limited to ergonomics, behavior-based safety, incident reduction, worksite analysis, hazard prevention and control, and employee engagement.• Supports the development and implementation of AWP Safety – EHS Directives – internal EHS Management System and performance.• Serves as an EHS subject matter expert and coaches others within the business unit operations.• Researches, evaluates, and recommends changes to improve the EHS performance.• Provides support to the Business Unit during regulatory inquiries, enforcement proceedings, and litigation.• Provides visibility on EHS progress, performance, and issues to the VP of Safety and Operational Leadership Teams.• Provide daily and continuous EHS support to the 5-8 Regional EHS Team and locations.
