ABOUT CAMERON B. CONN

The gambling industry is something that I have always loved. I come in as the 3rd generation casino owner and operator family, so I guess it was only natural that I followed in the footsteps placed before me. Although I tried to stray from that path in my career, I have always returned to this fascinating industry. I was introduced to the casino industry at an early age from visiting my grandfather, William Bennett. Being in a casino, talking about casinos, and being aware of the business shifts in Las Vegas was very common as I watched my family open up new casinos every few years. As I got older, I watched my mother, Diana Bennett, pave her path from Slot Director at Gold Strike to CEO and Founder of Paragon Gaming. It was the optics of my mother\'s career that really opened me up to the scale of the industry. It wasn\'t just casinos, it was customer services, food and beverage, hotels, manufacturing, analytics, finance, and regulation. There is nothing that compares to the scale of gaming. My family\'s passion has become mine, and at this point in my career, I am in a place where I am focused on helping the industry. I have spent 20 years in the gambling industry. I have been on development teams that have created casino projects in new jurisdictions, managed casino floors as an executive, and have spent the last seven years working on innovative regulatory and compliance solutions to help the industry continue to grow while protecting it. Our industry is so complex, and the scale of digital products and new jurisdictions only adds to the complexity and liability spread amongst organizations and their operating teams. I believe we can be better but do it more efficiently. I believe we need to be better, or we are placing our industry at risk of headlines, consumer failings, and regulatory restrictions based on our failings as an industry. The future of the industry in the US market will be guided by the success and failures we achieve over the next decade. I am so excited to work with an amazing group of people that believe in the industry and its future. I look forward to working hard to provide solutions to an industry that has provided so much for my family.
