I am from Fayetteville, NC and a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Political Science, where I also played four years of Navy Football. Commissioned in May 2024, I currently serve aboard a Littoral Combat Ship as a Division Officer, holding roles as First Lieutenant, Public Affairs Officer, and Recreation Services Officer. Through these responsibilities, I’ve gained expertise in leadership, operations/project management, and communications. I also bring a strong background in teamwork and service as a former member of Navy Football, as well as being an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

1. Surface Warfare Officer

   US Navy

   May 2024 — Present

   As a DIVO aboard a Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), I serve in a multi-hatted role as First Lieutenant, Public Affairs Officer, and Recreation Services Officer.In my capacity as First Lieutenant, I oversee all deck operations including mooring, anchoring, and small boat handling, while managing maintenance and material readiness to ensure safe and effective daily operations. I lead and develop a team of sailors, driving performance, professional growth, and mission success.As the ship’s Public Affairs Officer, I craft internal and external communications, coordinate media engagements, and highlight the command’s mission through storytelling and strategic outreach—fostering transparency, trust, and organizational pride.In my role as Recreation Services Officer, I design and execute programs that enhance crew morale, wellness, and quality of life, building cohesion and resilience during high-tempo deployments.Together, these diverse responsibilities have strengthened my expertise in leadership, operations management, strategic communications, and team development.
